The Best Way to Eat Fried Rice
Sweet, spicy and oh so delicious.
Cookware & Appliances Needed
- Stovetop or Hot plate
- 13 inch Wok
- Utensil to cook
- Cutting board
- Knife of choice
Ingredients
- Cooked Rice (a day old) – 2 cups
- Fresh pineapple (bite-sized) – 65 grams
- Cashews (lightly salted) – 3 TBSP
- Chicken (cubed & cooked) – 1 cup
- Roma Tomatoes (quartered) – 15 grams
- Garlic (minced) – 1/4 TSP
- Onions (thinly sliced) – 8 grams
- Shallots (thinly sliced) – 8 grams
- Thai Chili Powder – 1/4 TSP
- Chicken Bullion – 1 1/2 TSP
- Curry Powder – 1/2 TSP
- Soy sauce – 1 TSP
- Fish Sauce – 1/4 TSP
- Olive Oil – 3 TBSP
Instructions
- Begin by: Adding 1 TBSP olive oil (of the total 3 TBSP) to the wok over medium heat.
- Then add your garlic, thinly sliced onions, thinly sliced shallots, and Thai chili powder.
- Once fragrant, add Roma tomatoes and pineapples.
- Once tomatoes and pineapples are slightly soft, add your cooked rice and 2 TBSP olive oil (of the total 3 TBSP).
- After breaking apart all the clumps of rice, add your cooked chicken.
- Now add soy sauce, fish sauce, chicken bullion, and curry powder. Attempt your best wok toss skills here.
- Once seasoning is evenly distributed, add your cashews and turn off heat.
- Enjoy!
