Cookware & Appliances Needed

  1. Blender
  2. Cutting board
  3. Knife of choice

Ingredients

  1. Avocados – 3 whole
  2. Jalapeno – 40 grams (or 1 whole)
  3. Cilantro – 30 grams
  4. Onion – 65 grams
  5. Garlic – 5 grams (or 3 cloves)
  6. Salt – 1/4 TSP
  7. Pepper – 1/4 TSP

PREP

  • Wash your herbs and vegetables.
  • Peel the outer layer of the onion. Cut the bottom and top portions off, then slice in half.
  • Cut the stem off the jalapeno.
  • Peel the garlic and trim the ends.
  • Cut the ends of the cilantro.
  • Slice the avocados in half and remove the seed. Then scoop out the avocado flesh.
  • Set all items aside.

LET’S BEGIN

  • In a blender, add avocado, jalapeno, cilantro, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper. Optional: Add lemon or lime to preserve the guacamole.
  • Best served with tortilla chips or paired with burritos and tacos.
