- Blender
- Cutting board
- Knife of choice
Ingredients
- Avocados – 3 whole
- Jalapeno – 40 grams (or 1 whole)
- Cilantro – 30 grams
- Onion – 65 grams
- Garlic – 5 grams (or 3 cloves)
- Salt – 1/4 TSP
- Pepper – 1/4 TSP
Instructions
PREP
- Wash your herbs and vegetables.
- Peel the outer layer of the onion. Cut the bottom and top portions off, then slice in half.
- Cut the stem off the jalapeno.
- Peel the garlic and trim the ends.
- Cut the ends of the cilantro.
- Slice the avocados in half and remove the seed. Then scoop out the avocado flesh.
- Set all items aside.
LET’S BEGIN
- In a blender, add avocado, jalapeno, cilantro, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper. Optional: Add lemon or lime to preserve the guacamole.
- Best served with tortilla chips or paired with burritos and tacos.
